A fantastic book, a
really gripping story that's very cleverly written. The plot does pull you
in - you very quickly get to know the characters, either loving or hating
them! This is a brilliant first book that keeps you thinking and guessing
right till the end - strongly recommended |

A fantastic first
novel that draws you in from the beginning. As I turned each page I
was taken further into the world of the Puppet Master and those around
him - and each time I put had to put it down I could not wait to get
back to this new world I had entered. The characters are so well
written you can see them, you feel you know them. The plot, so
shocking at times, makes you want to get to the end fast to find out
what happens. But on reaching the end I wonder when I will get to meet
Mike Barton again and that maybe in the meantime I'll have to go back
to the Puppet Masters world |

I bought your book in Waterstone's,
Kettering. Have just finished it, having thoroughly enjoyed it. I look
forward reading your next novel. I read a lot of 'crime' books and I
am delighted to be able to say that I found you work different and
original to such an extent that I would not be able to to categorise
you along with any other other writer. I especially liked the use of
the briefing notes in Part One.
